HO105vcx: Compliance with State and Federal Regulations

Staying current with evolving consumer finance and mortgage regulations is a major challenge for Housing Counseling professionals. Foundational rules from the 1960s and 1970s, originally issued by the Federal Reserve and HUD, still shape the industry today. Meanwhile, newer agencies like the CFPB have assumed oversight and are systematically updating these regulations to align with modern practices. This course offers Housing Counseling participants, state and local housing agency staff, and executives a comprehensive overview of key laws and regulations impacting the housing industry. It helps identify knowledge gaps and equips attendees to address them effectively upon returning to their offices.
