AM321vc: Advanced Financial Tools for Asset Managers (CHAM)
This advanced course equips asset managers with the financial expertise to manage affordable multifamily housing effectively. You will learn to analyze investment returns, determine sustainable debt levels and model Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) scenarios to guide strategic decisions. The curriculum explores tax impacts on property performance, compares loan structures and provides tools to evaluate refinancing opportunities. Through hands-on exercises, you will calculate debt service, assess portfolio health and plan Year 15 strategies. By completion, you will confidently apply advanced financial tools to strengthen asset performance and advance long-term, mission-driven housing goals.
